The Great Storm

June 6 @ 8:00 pm 10:00 pm

On November 9, 1913, an unimaginable force of nature caused 71 ships to sink with 256 people drowning. This is the greatest fresh water disaster to happen anywhere in the world. The Great Storm, Warren Robinson’s award winning account of the tragedy, exposes the heartbreaking personal stories underlying the event while celebrating the heroism, romance and humour of life in those days. While remaining true to the known facts, the play imagines interpersonal relations, conflicts and shared values. Come to Kingsbridge and be swept up by the storm and thrill to characters who will engage, infuriate and captivate your imagination. Laugh and cry in this celebration of the best and most trying aspects of human experience. Tickets are available at the door only. Doors open one hour prior to show time. Adults $20, Students $10 and Children under 12 $5. Refreshments available.  Wheelchair Accessible building.
